    I love that you tell stories about what is happening in your daily life... for example when you found your sweet momma dog and all those adorable puppies!! That whole story really got my attention because it's like HOW do you find homes for SO many puppies?? You did it and your dogs are for sure loved and cared for. Also I really loved your travel videos because for me they were different from everyone else.

      Awe, thank you so much Diana. We feel like it's our responsibility to take care of the street dogs. We do try to provide a different perspective on our travel videos as well. I know you've been following us for a while and we appreciate that. -Marc

    Lyndsie, make sure to get a good stripping comb for your dog regarding the heat. And and definitely a couple gallons of water of and keep the water bowl easy to grab for your stops. Make sure to scope out where you stop and look out for stray territorial dogs before you take your dog out.

    Nice video, I have always enjoyed that you two are just sharing your daily life. I don't know if I could take care of as many dogs as you do, it has to be frustrating, but I guess it has to be the starfish principle, you make a difference one at a time. It is totally true, the only failure is not trying.

      It's sad that there are so many strteet dogs. Some appear to have been lefvt by their owners. Some are born in the field. Not a good situation either way but we do what we can to help. -Marc

    Great video. Especially the pet sitting part. I looked up Pet Sit Mexico and looked up all 6 available sits available. I will say a few were way more than just pet sitting and light housekeeping. IDK if many prospective pet sitters are going to want to do home maintenance like fixing toilets. lol. I know part of the reason people will sit for free is so they can explore the area but some of the schedules for pet care were a bit rigid and did not allow but for a few hours to be away from the job. One lady wanted 'experienced pet owners', but would not let anyone bring their own pet while pet sitting?? Im sure she had her reasons but if someone wants 'experience pet owners' then that usually means the sitter has pet/s too, right? So, the pet sitter gets a pet sitter for their own pet/s? Crazy, but it could work for some. BTW thanks for rescuing those dogs from a life of misery. Im sure they are thriving with you guys now!

      I=There are house sits like that that can be fairly restrictive. You just have to decide if your up for that. Some people don't want people to bring there own pets because it might upset their pets. -Marc

      @@TheTwoTravelersInMexico Do you think they will ever change the temporary resident requirements? Can I put 6500.00 in the bank every month for 6 months ?

    • @TheTwoTravelersInMexico
      @TheTwoTravelersInMexico  3 месяца назад +1

      @@sallylee6934 I hope they do. With the requirements going up by 20% or so a year it will be very difficult for people to qualify. I think that if Mexico wants people to get residency of some kind and not just border hop every 6 month or so some adjustment will need to be made or people using the reqularization program by over staying their visitor visa by 1 day but even this has restrictions. As far as the monthly income they will look to see if you have regular income over a period of time. Some consulates ask for 6 months bank statements and some ask for 12 months of bank statements. -Marc

    A lot of the travel channels are geared to younger nomad vibe. I like finding channels such as yours. I'm getting ready to move to Guanajuato mid-September having sold my house. The extra physical distance between me and my loved ones is the only thing I get nervous about.

    • @TheTwoTravelersInMexico
      @TheTwoTravelersInMexico  3 месяца назад +1

      Thank you for watching and commenting. The distance can be an issue for some people but there is video chat video calls that are available. Everybody is a little different as far as the need to communicate with family and friends. Once you move to Guanajuato I'm sure you will figure out if you are able to deal with the distance separation. You will also make new friends in Mexico. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us. We'll be happy to answer what we can. -Marc

    Lyndsie's sound is echoing like she is in an empty closet - nothing to baffle the echo - or her mic is no good. Other than that the flow is good and interesting. Alan - a retired video engineer.
